How to apply for CIMB Cash Plus
How much money can I borrow with this CIMB loan?
CIMB Cash Plus provides personal loans from RM2,000 and RM100,000 for repayment terms between twelve months and five years. The amount of money you are able to borrow is capped at 8x your monthly gross income.
How much does this personal loan cost?
CIMB Cash Plus has no processing fees or hidden charges. You will need to pay Government Stamp Duty on the amount you borrow, which is calculated at 0.50% of the total loan. You may also be required to take Takaful insurance cover for the period of your loan.
What do I need to apply for this CIMB personal loan?
This is an unsecured personal loan so you will not need to pay a deposit, nor provide a guarantor. In order to make an application you will be asked to provide supporting documents:

How do I get my hands on the money?
CIMB may take a few business days to process your application. Once your loan is approved the money you are borrowing will be transferred into aCIMB bank account.
How do I pay the money back?
Loan repayments begin on the first day of the month following the date you received the money you’ve borrowed. Payments need to be made every month until the total amount of the loan is repaid.
CIMB states that your loan installments must be paid through automatic payment via Standing Instruction.
Can I pay my CIMB Cash Plus loan off early?
Yes, you can. If you want to end your loan during the first year, the lock-in period, you will have to pay RM200 for Early Termination fee.
What else do I need to know about the CIMB Cash Plus?
You will be offered a term insurance plan in the event of your death or permanent disability ( TPD). You will only pay a single premium amount for you to be covered.
