HSBC Amanah Personal Financing-i is a Syariah compliant personal financing plan based on the concept of Commodity Murabahah. Your financing amount can be used for just about everything - pay for your child's college fees, family holiday, or hospital bills.
What is the financing amount?
You can finance from RM5,000 up to a maximum of RM250,000 at 4.88% p.a. for existing HSBC or HSBC Amanah customers. However, new-to-bank applicants can finance up to RM120,000.
Once you have established a credit history by making prompt payment, top-ups to your financing amount can be made in multiples of RM500 (subject to approval).
Do I need a guarantor or collateral?
You don’t have to pay a deposit, pledge any collateral, or need to bring along a guarantor for this financing plan.
Who is eligible to apply or the HSBC Amanah Personal Financing-i?
Anyone aged between 21 to 60, is a Malaysian or have PR status, and a monthly salary of no less than RM3,000 can apply for this financing.
The monthly salary of RM3,000 will apply to existing HSBC/ HSBC Amanah account holders. Otherwise, the minimum monthly salary required is RM5,000 per month.
How soon can I get the financing amount?
HSBC Amanah may take a few working days to process your application. You will get instant cash credited into your account with HSBC Amanah upon approval.
How do I pay the monthly payment?
Your payment schedule will be handed to you when your financing plan has been approved.
You will be required to open a savings or current account with HSBC Amanah, as the bank would prefer you to have a standing instruction to automatically deduct the monthly payment from the account - that way, you'll never be late!
Can I settle my financing early?
Yes, you can make early settlement at any point of time during the financing period. No penalty is imposed on the early settlement. However, HSBCwould require a 1 month notice.
