Things you might want to know

How much money can I borrow from RHB Easy?

This RHB Easy personal loan really is an express loan, you can be approved immediately for borrowing between RM2,000 and RM150,000. You can choose loan repayment terms from one to five years.

How much does this personal loan cost?

There are no processing fees and no hidden charges with RHB's Easy-PinjamanEkspres. You will need to pay Government Stamp Duty on the amount you borrow, this is calculated at 0.50% of the total amount loaned.

What do I need to apply for this RHB Easy loan?

All you need to bring along with you to the bank branch is your MyKad. With biometric verification, all your income data needed will be auto-filled electronically by RHB Easy. No documents or forms to fill!

However, to be on the safe side, do bring along the following documents with you as well!

If you are a salaried employee, please prepare the following:

If you are self-employed, please prepare the following:

How do I get my hands on the money?

Apply at your selected RHB Easy branch and if you meet all the requirements your loan will be approved on the spot. The cash will be deposited into your savings or current account.

How do I pay the money back?

Your repayment schedule will be detailed in your application approval document. In most cases payments begin the month following the date you receive your loan and continue every month until the loan has been completely repaid. If you're late on your repayments, you will be charged 1%p.a. on the outstanding balance, resulting in a higher loan amount!

Can I pay my Easy-PinjamanEkspres off early?

You can settle your loan whenever you want. If you’d like to repay in full before the full loan term is up you will need to pay an early termination fee of RM200.

Do I need insurance for this RHB Easy loan?

Yes, it is compulsory for you to sign-up for the Personal Smart Shield (PSS) when you are approved for this Pinjaman Express from RHB Easy.

Is there anything else I should know about personal loans?

Please note that this is a ‘reducing balance’ loan. This means that your initial payments are higher than normal loans. Your loan instalments are fixed each month but the amount of interest you pay gets less and less with each passing month.

How do I clear my name if I have been ‘blacklisted’ by CCRIS?

Your entire credit history is recorded in CCRIS. To improve your credit rating with the bank, you’ll want to settle all outstanding payments and loans. Make sure that you settle all your monthly payments regularly thereafter.
